Re: Realizing the “Green Mobility Vision”

Large fleets are faced with two daunting challenges for 2008 and beyond:

1.) The rising cost of petroleum ($98 a Barrel) is eroding the budget; and (2) “Green Vision” calls for dramatically reducing CO2 emissions and fuel consumption on an aggressive timetable.

Vendors and Committees are probably presenting point solutions as if they are silver bullets for addressing these requirements. What Fleets really needs is a comprehensive and customized solution that maps a course from where the Fleet is today to where it needs to be in the future and then moves them down that path to success. This means evaluating your existing fleet and fuel infrastructure and the jobs they must accomplish and then transitioning the Fleet to multiple alternative fuel options. The Green Fleets Group is uniquely qualified to provide this solution.

Instead of hoping that some future technology will solve all of our problems, the Green Fleets Group works to optimize the use of existing technologies and fuels. This means migrating all diesel vehicles and generators to run on 100% biodiesel (B100). It also means taking advantage of and expanding state-of-the-art CNG filling stations and replacing some of your gasoline engine vehicles with CNG vehicles. Additionally, where they fit, plug-in Electric Vehicles will be added to the fleet and will be recharged by solar electricity. Besides migrating vehicles, this program addresses the fuel infrastructure, maintenance, technology improvements and helpful program management that will support these vehicles.

Green Fleets Group will address all aspects of the Fleets move to alternative fuels, by:

1.) Recommending vehicle-by-vehicle retrofitting and replacement;
2.) Striking a balance between performance and efficiency to optimize every vehicle to accomplish the job;
3.) Upgrading the Fleets fuel infrastructure to simplify fuel delivery and use;
4.) Analysis and implementation of new technology, including AFV for your first responders;
5.) Assisting in obtaining Grant Funding; and lower cost AFV purchasing procedures;
6.) Providing Order Financing ($200M available) will spread the cost of vehicles, fuel infrastructure, fuel, maintenance, training, conversions and program management over 10 years, and no payments the first year.

Green Fleets Group is offering California Fleets a unique and customized packaged deal that will address all aspects of migrating to alternative fuels while reducing your overall fleet costs. We will also reduce the Fleets emissions by pledge amounts, adhering to your commitment timetable. We look forward to meeting with Fleets to discuss our offering in detail and to answer all of your questions. Please, let us know when it will be convenient to meet with your Fleet Managers.
